In addition, we are the top international oil company of lubricants manufacturer and marketer, LNG supplier, coal gasification technologies and bitumen supplier in China.

Responsibilities:

• To work closely with site Manager to provide communications site support and to provide communications advise to site manager to enable decision making.

• To lead a team of CLOs (Community Liaison Officer) from both Shell and PetroChina to liaise with neighboring community on daily basis.

• To identify and feedback to site management and venture communications manager of community issues and to provide advice to site manager on handling community grievance, in consultation with venture communications Manager and PetroChina.

• To check and advise any potential negative impact of the operations on the neighboring community and seek to minimize these impacts.

• To build good relations with community leaders and local government at village and county level.

• To help provide baseline information on the community.

Requirements:

• Excellent stakeholder relations skills.

• Fluent in English speaking and writing.

• Good network with other functions.

• Independent planning and execution.

• Good business knowledge in oil and gas industry.

• Expert knowledge of community and society issues.

• Ability to manage relationships effectively with internal/external stakeholders in a structured and proactive approach.

• University degree.

• NGO experience/background as plus.
